Who are we?

Hello! I'm Eldritch, founder of Surprise Encounter!

Surprise Encounter has been open for over a year now, and we've had hundreds of satisfied customers! Located in FarGo Village, we aim to provide a safe, inclusive place for new or experienced gamers of all ages and backgrounds. Come to Surprise Encounter to learn all sorts of tabletop gaming, including boardgames, roleplay games, wargames, and everything in between.

Groups are welcome and encouraged.

If you're on your own and want a game, come down to one of our singles sessions and find a gaming partner. I’m always up for a game if I'm available!

Mentoring

We offer mentoring sessions for boardgames, dungeon/game mastering and more.

Eldritch is an talented Game Master with over 15 years experience. He has lead campaigns of Dungeons and Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, Pendragon, Legend of the Five Rings, Paranoia and more.

We can support you to run a home-brew game or official scenarios and adventures.
